I’ve been a registered nurse since 1989. I’ve had an opportunity to experience multiple areas of
nursing and have seen how the industry has changed over the years. Some the types of nursing
I have done include hospital floor nursing, clinic nursing, school nursing and I even managed a
team of 25 in a major hospital setting. I currently work 100% remotely as an RN case manager.
One thing that all these types of nursing have in common is I have the opportunity to serve.
Everyone needs help at some point in life and it has been a privilege to be the person to fulfill
that need.

How did I become the Bombshell Nurse? The power of the internet. It was Christmas Day 2015,
my very first day on Match.com and I received the best present ever, an email from the man
who would become my husband. My nearly 30-year marriage had ended, and I was hopeful to
find someone to enjoy the rest of this life’s adventures. I had no idea how that email would
change my life for the better. Dennis has been called the Dazzler since early childhood; he is
one of a kind. He gave me my new name, that would forever be Bombshell Nurse.

We are a team. We enjoy the latest fashion; however, we are our own brand, and we like to
push the envelope. We tend to overdress but when we arrive heads start to turn. We may push
it, but we keep it fun! The bonus of getting better tables doesn’t hurt either. I’ll let you in on a
little secret, Dennis has way more shoes than I do, and he has an incredible closet. Dennis is
beyond supportive; he is my hype man and photographer. He may be an amateur, but he gets
great results. He loves to show me off and truly enjoys the accolades I receive. At times, he
does have to put a few people in their place when they overstep our boundaries. Dennis has
been negotiating and marketing his entire life and that continues with the Bombshell Nurse.

We love to travel whether it be internationally, across the country or somewhere close to
home. We’re up for all types of adventures however our favorite will usually include a beach
somewhere! Another favorite for us to partake in a great meal, this can be a local café to the
finest dining establishment. I tend to push Dennis out of his comfort zone when it comes to
new cuisine but, I do know what he likes. I love to cook and bake, it’s one of the ways I express
love to others. I appreciate the thought and effort that goes into any well-prepared meal.

Faith is the foundation of my life, holding everything in place. I was brought up in Faith and it is
a legacy I have passed down to my own children and grandchildren. Faith in God supplies my
Joy in the face of all of life’s circumstances. Faith that there is good in all people has allowed me
to accept others into my life. Believing in the best in someone, gives both them and me the
freedom to be known. Faith that I will see the results of a disciplined life keeps me moving forward in consistent ways. That includes things such as healthy eating, exercising 6 times a
week, sleeping well, and daily quiet time with God. Life is a blessing to be cherished.
